This pendant necklace is made from two uniquely cut copper metal pieces with black, ocean blue and verdigris patinas, slightly distressed for an aged look. The bottom piece is also photo-etched with my knit stitch design. Grey glass beads hold it all together.

Hand dyed and knitted super soft jersey fabric necklace with black and two different silver tone chains wrapping around the band for a bit of hard edge. Silver tone chain and lobster clasp closure at back.
This geometric bracelet is made of hand cut bronze shapes with a gradient of purple, blue and green patinas. With a gunmetal magnet clasp, it is easy to get on and off. Measures 6.75” when open.

The 8 maps depict different Hutong areas in downtown Beijing, with a size of approximately one square kilometre each and a population of 30000; these areas have been isolated as autonomous towns within the big city. Since 2009 the carpets have been shown to the Hutong dwellers trough street public temporary events, hanging them up on ropes, wires and threads commonly used by local Beijing residents for their clothes to dry.”
I love asymmetry in fashion and have translated that into my jewelry as well. I started experimenting with cut-outs and negative space too. Will post results soon :)
